The pre-Columbian monumental and beautiful Fountain of Nezahualcóyotl in Chapultepec Park, held the second edition of NOOK, the new Mexican fashion platform in which the Mexican talents Kris Goyri, Mancandy and Rolando Santana presented their Fall/Winter 2013 collection.

Kansinskys abstract-linear theory and the work of Korean artist Sun K. Kwak inspired Kris Goyri to create a sensual, feminine, full of movement, fluid, classy and elegant collection made with fabrics like silk organza embroyed with metal details, transparencies and sequins.
I was really happy to see such a wonderful collection and I think these young designer wil have a great career.

Mancandy (Andres Jimenez) was inspired by industrial development and the Mega trend JUST. Using metalic fabrics, leather, wool, vinyl and denim made this collection a full of new and exotic silhouettes.
the model Cristina Piccone was also part of the event

Finally we saw the collection of Rolando Santana, who is currently succeeding in New York!
As the models came out, they reminded me of NYC high society in the early 50's and Audrey Hepburn.

A collection full of timeless pieces for the feminine, sophisticated, chic and elegant women.
The predominant colors were royal blue, eggplant purple, emerald green and brown. As the textures cellophane and raffia were the protagonists.

These event was amazing, so cool, fresh and really supporting fashion industry in Mexico.
It also reminds us to Paris, Milan or London fashion shows with memorable locations which make NOOK the most distinguished fashion events for the experience achieved through its iconic spaces.
